General description
The CRG/UPF Proteomics Unit is an innovative research infrastructure from the Center for Genomics Regulation and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra that offers proteomics services with strong added-value to the scientific community. The Unit supports basic and translational research projects and its open to all researchers regardless of their institution. The Unit is part of the reference proteomics infrastructure of the Spanish National Health System.

Services provided
The CRG/UPF Proteomics Unit provides external access to 5 high-end mass spectrometers, including an Orbitrap Fusion Lumos, a LTQ-Orbitrap XL, a LTQ-Orbitrap Velos, a QTRAP 5500, and a QTOF 5600. All these mass spectrometers are equipped with a nanoLC chromatographic system for quantitative proteomics experiments, and they cover a wide range of mass analysers (orbitrap, TOF, quadrupoles, ion traps), fragmentation types (CID, HCD, ETD, and their combinations), and acquisition workflows (e.g. DDA, SRM, PRM, and DIA). All instruments are available for access to external scientific research groups from both academia and industry, and are suited for a variety of applications that range from screening quantitative proteomics studies to targeted proteomics workflows. Offereed services include: 1. Setting up of a protein-protein interaction experiment (IP, AP-MS) 2. Characterization of protein-protein interactions (IP, AP-MS) 3. Acetyl, methyl, Gly-Gly PTM identification and quantification of a purified protein (LC or IP) 4. Identification and quantitation of post-translational modifications in purified histones. 5. Quantitation of post-translational modifications in purified histones. 6. Phosphorylation PTM identification of a purified protein (LC or IP) 7. Label-free protein quantitation in complex samples with and without statistical analysis 8. Label-free phosphopeptide quantitation in complex samples with and without statistical analysis 9. Protein quantitation in complex samples by SILAC with and without statistical analysis 10. Protein quantitation in complex samples by iTRAQ with and without statistical analysis 11. Protein quantitation in complex samples by TMT with and without statistical analysis 12. Phosphopeptide quantitation in complex samples by SILAC with and without statistical analysis 13.
