Atlanpole Biotherapies is the bio-cluster of Western France, including Pays de la Loire, Bretagne and Centre Val de Loire regions.

Biocat acts as a strategic agent and catalyst in the construction of the Catalan healthcare and life sciences ecosystem. Its mission is to dynamize all the stakeholders of the BioRegion (companies, research groups and entities, hospitals and innovation support structures) to transform knowledge and technology into economic growth and to create a social impact.

Biocat was created in 2006 at the behest of the Government of Catalonia and the Barcelona City Council to provide a joint strategy for the Catalan biosciences sector as the foundation of a new economy based on knowledge and innovation.

Set up as a public/private foundation, the Biocat governing bodies include representatives from all levels of the BioRegion of Catalonia: companies (biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical technology and sector services), government, universities, hospitals, research centers and institutes, science parks and sector support bodies.

Dynamizing the BioRegion globally:

Biocat dynamizes the BioRegion, the biosciences cluster in Catalonia, in order to consolidate and project it internationally. Through its actions, Biocat:

Acts as a knowledge partner for the government to design policies and programs that affect the sector.
Detects major international trends to anticipate the sector’s needs and opportunities before they even appear.
Facilitates collaboration between the stakeholders in the BioRegion and a variety of entities in Catalonia and beyond, both nationally and internationally.
Facilitates access of companies and research bodies to public stakeholders.
Proposes flexible, innovative solutions to the sector’s challenges, with quality and efficacy.

Biopeople is located at the University of Copenhagen and is part of the Danish infrastructure for innovation - established and cofunded by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science.

As a life science cluster, Biopeople's strategic priority is to support the paradigm shift in health care sector innovation, implying a strengthened focus on biomarkers, companion diagnostics, precision/personalized medicine, regulatory science, and stakeholder involvement (incl. patient communities). ID2Santé is a not-for-profit organization located in Bretagne, Western France, whose members are companies, academics and clinicians operating in the health sector. It has been entrusted by the regional authority with leading the regional health sector development and innovation strategies.
On a day-to-day basis, ID2Santé supports innovators from the concept idea to the validated product or service. Resources include R&D project development support, links to potential partners and funding, information about current standards and regulations. It also liaises across regional, national, European and international networks. As a partner of the Boost4Health project, it is the main contact point for SMEs from Bretagne who wish to benefit from the Boost4Health opportunities.

The Interface Enterprises-University is a department within ULiège that is focused on supporting economic growth through community-university collaborations. Network: ITF ULiège is a lead partner for 3 Scientific Parks (Liege Science Park, Novalis, Créalys) and is in contact with other Scientific Parks through SPOW (Science Parks of Wallonia) and EEN (Enterprise Europe Network). ITF ULiège also works in close cooperation with AWEX, Innovatech, Cide Socran, Wallonia Biotech Coaching, Biowin, Wagralim,… that are various Walloon actors supporting SMEs.
